John Edward McNicholl

John Edward McNicholl is a 73-year-old man who has been living in the Republic of Ireland since his deportation from the United States in 2003. He is currently facing extradition to Northern Ireland in connection with the murder of Royal Ulster Constabulary officer Robert John McPherson, which occurred in 1975. McNicholl, who escaped from Maze Prison in 1976, is charged with murder and attempted murder related to the incident.
