John Frederick Conway

Prof. John Frederick Conway was a prominent socialist intellectual and sociology professor at the University of Regina, known for his commitment to social justice, education reform, and advocacy for the working class. He was a major voice in Saskatchewan's Waffle movement and inspired generations of students to think critically about societal structures. Conway's contributions to academia and public policy were significant, and he remained an unyielding advocate for a more equitable society until his passing on March 4 at the age of 81.
