He gained infamy for his involvement in several high-profile murders, including the assassination of Justice Minister Rodrigo Lara Bonilla and the bombing of Avianca Flight 203. Pinina began his criminal career at a young age, reportedly becoming a hitman at just 15 years old, and was killed in a police operation in 1990 at the age of 29.
