John Kwamevi Cudjoe
John Kwamevi Cudjoe is a Ghanaian priest of the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Divine Word, recently appointed as the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Guayaquil by Pope León XIV. Born on December 27, 1975, in Jamestown, Accra, Ghana, he was ordained in 2005 and has dedicated his life to pastoral work in Ecuador since then. His ministry has focused on various communities in Guayaquil, particularly in the Verbo Divino parish and later as the parish priest at María Madre de la Iglesia. Cudjoe has also been involved in education and spiritual formation, serving as a professor of theology and a spiritual director for seminarians.
