John Lawson

John Lawson is the City of Edinburgh Council's curator of archaeology, known for his significant contributions to the understanding of Edinburgh's historical context through archaeological discoveries. His recent work includes the groundbreaking analysis of medieval skeletons exhumed from the grounds of St Giles Cathedral, which revealed the first scientific evidence of the Black Death in Edinburgh.
