John Ndung’u is a prominent figure in Kenya's history of political activism, known for his participation in a peaceful hunger strike on March 3, 1992, at Freedom Corner in Uhuru Park. Alongside fellow activists, he campaigned for the release of political prisoners, including former MP Koigi wa Wamwere.
