Joko Istanto

Joko Istanto serves as the Head of the East Kalimantan Forestry Department and is committed to enhancing the preservation of forest areas. He has been vocal about the necessity of strengthening monitoring systems and community participation in forest protection, especially in light of illegal activities threatening vital ecosystems such as the Sungai Wain Protected Forest.
