Joleen Mitton
Joleen Mitton is the founder of Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week (VIFW), which has grown since its inception in 2017 into a celebrated international platform for Indigenous designers. As a Plains Cree woman and a descendant of the Sawridge Nation, she is dedicated to promoting Indigenous culture through fashion and fostering a sense of community and belonging among Indigenous peoples.
