Jónas Orri Jónasson

Jónas Orri Jónasson is a law enforcement officer with the Reykjavík Metropolitan Police, actively involved in discussions regarding the use of electrical weapons in policing. Recently, he participated in a conference at the University of Akureyri, where he explored public attitudes towards these weapons alongside Rannveig Þórisdóttir, the head of the service department at the National Commissioner of Police. Their work comes at a time when the use of such weapons has increased in response to rising violent incidents in society.
