Jonathan Hernández

Dr. Jonathan Hernández is a researcher at the Institute of Library and Information Research at UNAM, specializing in misinformation, access to information, and digital oblivion. He has extensively studied the impact of disinformation on society, particularly in the context of Mexico, where political polarization and the use of social media exacerbate the spread of false information. Hernández emphasizes the importance of understanding the complex interplay between technology, health, and information in combating disinformation, and he is currently organizing an interdisciplinary academic meeting to address these issues over several years.
