Jordan Anchondo

Jordan Anchondo was a victim of the tragic mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, on August 3, 2019. She was shopping with her husband, Andre, and their 2-month-old baby, Paul, when the gunman opened fire. Jordan heroically shielded her child from the gunfire, ultimately losing her life in the attack. Her courageous act of protection reflects the profound love and sacrifice of a mother, and her death contributed to the heart-wrenching toll of 23 lives lost in this racially motivated tragedy.
