Jordie Narváez is a first-semester student at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (Espol), originally from Naranjito in the Guayas province of Ecuador. He recently benefited from the university's housing initiative, which provides accommodation for students in need. His mother, María Tomalazo, expressed relief that Jordie no longer has to rely on family for housing or spend money on daily bus fare, which significantly eases their financial burden.
