Jordyn Ledgister

Jordyn Ledgister is a passionate advocate for Black maternal and neonatal health in Canada, serving as the founder of CommUnity Doulas, which provides vital doula and nutritional support to Black families in Toronto. Her work stems from a deep commitment to addressing the disparities highlighted in a 2016 McGill University study, which revealed that Black mothers face significantly higher rates of preterm births than their white counterparts.
