Jorge Bolaño
Jorge Bolaño was a Colombian footballer born on April 28, 1977, in Santa Marta. He is best remembered for his time as a midfielder with the Colombian national team, participating in the 1998 FIFA World Cup and various other tournaments, including Copa América and the Gold Cup. He began his professional career with Junior de Barranquilla, where he won multiple league titles. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching, working with youth teams at Independiente Santa Fe. Bolaño passed away on April 7, 2023, due to a heart attack, leaving a significant legacy in Colombian football.
