Jorge Eladio Bolaño Correa

Jorge Eladio Bolaño Correa was a former Colombian professional footballer, known for his significant contributions to the national team, including participating in the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France and the 1999 Copa América. He began his career at Junior de Barranquilla, where he achieved great success, including winning the league title in 1995. After a successful stint in Europe with teams like Parma and Sampdoria, Bolaño returned to Colombia and later transitioned into coaching. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 47 due to a heart attack.
