Jorge Hume Salas

Jorge Hume Salas is a controversial figure in the Catholic Church, originally from Tucurrique, Costa Rica, born in 1957. He has faced numerous allegations and has been expelled from various seminaries for misconduct, including impersonating a priest and engaging in immoral behavior. Despite being ordained in 1993 in California, his history includes theft from church collections and accusations of sexual abuse against his former bishop, Patrick Ziemann. Recently, he has been in the news for offering unauthorized ecclesiastical services in Costa Rica, prompting warnings from the Archdiocese of San José.
