Jorge Portuguez Ferreto, a police officer of the Fuerza Pública, has been implicated in a criminal scheme involving the theft of cattle for a criminal organization led by Alejandro Arias Monge, alias Diablo. Accusations indicate that he used his official position to plan and execute at least two cattle robberies in Sarapiquí and Guácimo in 2022.
