Jorge Serendero

Jorge Serendero is the director of the Fundación For the Oceans and has been actively involved in marine conservation efforts, particularly focusing on the removal of ghost nets from coastal waters. He recently led a campaign in Costa de Pájaros, Puntarenas, where his team successfully recovered a truckload of ghost nets, raising awareness about the dangers these abandoned fishing nets pose to marine life and ecosystems.
