Known for his cattle herding skills and practice with a lasso, Jory's quick thinking and courage during the emergency earned him recognition from local authorities, including a commendation from the Sweet Grass County Sheriff's Office and the title of 'Montana Citizen of the Month' from Senator Steve Daines.
