José Altagracia de León Corcino, known artistically as Franklin The Boss, was a prominent merengue singer from the Dominican Republic, celebrated for his unique blend of merengue with urban music influences. With a career spanning over 20 years, he produced popular hits such as 'No me quiero enamorar' and 'Cuando se quiere de veras.' Tragically, he passed away in a car accident on May 11, 2023, which also claimed the life of another driver.
