José António Saraiva

José António Saraiva was a prominent Portuguese figure in journalism, serving as the longest-serving director of the influential newspaper Expresso from 1983 to 2005, and later founding the newspaper Sol. Despite his significant contributions to journalism, he identified primarily as an architect and writer, publishing several novels and works on politics and history. He passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 77.
