José Antonio Voytenco

José Antonio Voytenco is the current Secretary General of the Unión Argentina de Trabajadores Rurales y Estibadores (UATRE), a prominent labor union in Argentina with around 700,000 members. He gained his position in late 2022 after a narrow victory over former union leader Pablo Ansaloni. Aligned with the Kirchnerist political faction, Voytenco has been at the center of a legal battle regarding alleged corruption and mismanagement within the union, as well as accusations of illicit enrichment directed against him by Ansaloni.
