José Bagur

José Bagur is the coordinator of the Aerospace Laboratory at the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG) and a former member of the team that developed the first Guatemalan satellite, Quetzal-1. He has expressed enthusiasm for the continuation of satellite projects, particularly the Quetzal-2, which aims to enhance local capabilities in the design and construction of nanosatellites, promote open science, and inspire future generations to pursue STEM careers.
