José Claro

José Claro is the president of Puelo Patagonia, a grassroots organization dedicated to the conservation of the Cochamó Valley in Chilean Patagonia. Under his leadership, the organization successfully campaigned to protect 133,000 hectares of pristine wilderness from industrial development, highlighting the valley's ecological significance and promoting community involvement in conservation efforts.
