José Cortina
José Cortina was the commander of the Agrupación Operativa de Misiones Especiales (AOME), a special operations unit within the Spanish intelligence service. He was implicated in the events surrounding the attempted coup d'état on February 23, 1981, known as 23-F, but was ultimately acquitted after being tried for his involvement.
