José Dorien Jiménez Salazar

José Dorien Jiménez Salazar was the Secretary of Government in Pradera, Colombia, known for his commitment to community service and governance. He was a trained lawyer, journalist, and broadcaster with a specialization in Human and Organizational Development. Prior to his role as Secretary, he served as a councilman for the Conservative Party from 2020 to 2023. Tragically, he was assassinated on September 9, 2023, during an attack while watching a football match, an incident that shocked the local community and highlighted ongoing issues of violence in the region.
