José Fernando Nantipia

José Fernando Nantipia is an Ecuadorian politician and member of the Pachakutik political movement, representing the province of Morona Santiago. He has recently been in the news due to his involvement in disciplinary hearings initiated by his party after voting in alignment with the officialist bloc in the National Assembly. This decision led to his expulsion from the Confederation of Nationalities Indigenous of Ecuador (Conaie), which accused him and other members of betrayal during a significant political congress.
