Recently, he gained attention after being arrested as a suspected recruiter and leader of a criminal cell for the CJNG, particularly in connection with operations at the Izaguirre ranch in Teuchitlán. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a 46-year-old man with a distinct tattoo of the letter 'A' on his left arm and a large image of San Judas Tadeo on his back. His capture was the result of intelligence work, confirming his involvement in criminal activities, including training operations for the cartel.
