José Luis Aquino Aquino, a 53-year-old resident of the Ko’e Rory neighborhood in Alto Paraná, was tragically killed on May 1, 2023, when he was shot twice during an altercation that followed a Workers' Day celebration. His death was ruled a homicide, leading to the arrest of Javier Rodríguez Barboza, the suspected shooter, who is now facing charges of intentional homicide.
