José Luis Delpini

José Luis Delpini was an exceptional Argentine engineer and mathematician, best known for designing La Bombonera, the iconic stadium of Boca Juniors. Born in the early 20th century to Italian immigrant Giuseppe Delpini, he was a pioneer in the field of structural engineering, blending science and artistry to create what is often regarded as a masterpiece of modern architecture. Despite his significant contributions, he remains a largely forgotten figure in the annals of sports architecture.
