José Luis Macías Vázquez

José Luis Macías Vázquez is the director of the Institute of Geophysics at UNAM and chaired the recent meeting of the Special Security Commission. He is actively involved in addressing safety measures within the university, particularly in light of recent threats and incidents affecting the student community.
