José Manuel Jiménez Avilés

José Manuel Jiménez Avilés is the current superintendant of the Local Police in Granada, Spain. He has held this position on and off since 2007, with a notable return to the role in 2023 under the leadership of the Popular Party. Recently, he was in the news due to a raid conducted by the Economic and Fiscal Crime Unit (UDEF) at police headquarters, as part of an investigation into alleged irregularities in local police entrance exams.
