José María River

José María River is the founder of Rinos F.C., the first LGBTQ+ football team in Spain, established to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ athletes. River's own experience in amateur football was marked by challenges after coming out as bisexual at a young age, leading him to leave the sport due to discrimination. Through his work, he advocates for inclusivity and representation in sports.
