José Menjívar is a professor at the School of Biology at the University of El Salvador (UES), who has recently been in the news for his involvement in a study to investigate the unprecedented fish mortality occurring in Lake Suchitlán, collaborating with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN) and the UES Marine Toxins Laboratory.
