José Orlando Buitrago Rodríguez

José Orlando Buitrago Rodríguez, known by his alias 'Tito el Borracho,' is a notorious Colombian narcotrafficker linked to significant cocaine trafficking operations. He is alleged to have exported over 95,000 kilograms of cocaine to North America, Europe, and Central America. Buitrago has been involved with the criminal organization 'Los Burros' since 2003, and he took control of cocaine laboratories in the Catatumbo region in 2012. His criminal activities have led to a recent measure of asset forfeiture by Colombian authorities, in collaboration with the FBI, targeting properties valued at approximately $26 billion pesos. He was captured on January 22, 2024, with plans for extradition to the United States, facing charges related to drug trafficking, money laundering, and conspiracy.
