José Thompson Jiménez
José Thompson Jiménez is the Executive Director of the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights and the Secretary Executive of the Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations. He was recently in the news for denying false statements attributed to him regarding the Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE) of Costa Rica, which claimed he made comments questioning the TSE's authority. Thompson emphasized that the publication misused his image without consent and called for immediate rectification and an apology from the anonymous source behind the claims.
