Joselino Pacheco

Joselino Pacheco is the director of the Unidad Técnica de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutricional (UTSAN) within the Secretaría de Agricultura y Ganadería (SAG) in Honduras. He has been actively involved in addressing the critical issue of food insecurity in the country, particularly highlighting the challenges faced by rural agricultural communities. Recently, he warned that approximately 1.7 million Hondurans are projected to face a food crisis or emergency in the coming months due to low agricultural activity and employment opportunities.
