Joselo Santana is a Dominican banana businessman who has recently come under scrutiny due to allegations of involvement in drug trafficking. His family claims that the recent raids conducted by the Public Ministry and the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) on his properties were an attempt to fabricate evidence against him as the deadline for formal accusations approaches. Santana, who is a 50% shareholder in a banana export company, is reportedly distressed by the accusations, which he and his family adamantly deny. The investigations are linked to a significant cocaine seizure at the Port of Manzanillo in September 2024.
