Joseph Spring

Joseph Spring was a Holocaust survivor born in Berlin in 1927, who fled from the Nazis but was captured by Swiss border guards and delivered to the Gestapo, resulting in his deportation to Auschwitz. After surviving the horrors of the concentration camp, he emigrated to Australia, where he sought justice for the wrongs he suffered, particularly through a notable legal case against the Swiss government for their complicity in his deportation. Spring passed away on January 8, 2023, just before his 98th birthday.
