Josephine Kamara

Josephine Kamara is an advocacy and communications manager at Purposeful, an organization focused on youth-led initiatives and gender equality in Sierra Leone. She has been vocal in the fight against female genital mutilation (FGM), urging the Sierra Leonean government to enact laws that explicitly address and prohibit this practice, particularly in light of the recent rulings by the Ecowas court and the passing of the Child Rights Act 2025.
