Josephine Maguire was an elderly woman from Dublin whose estate was valued at approximately €450,000 at the time of her death in 2015. Despite being diagnosed with end-stage dementia, her will was admitted to probate after a High Court judge ruled that her eccentric behavior did not equate to a lack of testamentary capacity.
