Josephine Passienyi

Josephine Passienyi, a resident of Narok, Kenya, is a survivor of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and a passionate anti-FGM advocate. Having experienced the pain and trauma of FGM in her youth, she now runs 'Mission with a Vision', a rescue center for girls, where she works tirelessly to prevent others from undergoing the same ordeal. Passienyi highlights the dangers of medicalized FGM, asserting that regardless of where it occurs, the practice remains harmful and must be eradicated.
