Joshua Sullivan

Joshua Sullivan is a 34-year-old American missionary from Tennessee who has been serving in South Africa since 2018. He was recently in the news after being kidnapped during a sermon at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Motherwell, where he was preaching. Sullivan was rescued by South African police following a shootout with his kidnappers. Known for his big-hearted nature, he is fluent in Xhosa and has dedicated his life to church planting in the Eastern Cape, alongside his wife, Meagan.
