Josip Višnjić

Josip Višnjić is a former Serbian footballer who played as a midfielder, notably for Partizan Belgrade and later in Spain’s La Liga. Born in 1961 in Majdanpek, he moved to Spain in 1991 amidst the Yugoslav Wars, where he has lived ever since. He is remembered for his impressive performances in the Spanish leagues, particularly his goal against Barcelona while playing for Hércules, and has since transitioned into coaching. Now residing in Alicante, Višnjić reflects on his football journey and the changes in both his life and the world around him.
