Josué Acosta

Josué Acosta is a Dominican barber and entrepreneur who transformed his life from living in darkness to becoming a beacon of hope for others. After overcoming a challenging adolescence that included homelessness and incarceration, he founded ‘A Tu Estilo Barber Shop’ in Sabana Perdida, where he not only provides haircuts but also trains young people in the art of barbering through his academy. Through his project ‘Iluminando la Oscuridad’, Josué uses his skills to uplift homeless individuals, helping them regain their confidence and dignity. His story is one of resilience and empathy, demonstrating that with the right support and opportunities, anyone can change their path and contribute positively to society.
