Jozef Ridzoň

Jozef Ridzoň is a representative of SOS/Birdlife Slovakia, an organization dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats. He has highlighted the necessity for increased management activities suitable for the Western Capercaillie, particularly in state-owned lands. Ridzoň calls for the involvement of non-state landowners and the establishment of effective mechanisms to ensure comprehensive conservation efforts are undertaken, especially in light of the recent rescue program aimed at reversing the decline of the Capercaillie population.
