Józef Wesołowski

Józef Wesołowski was a Polish prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who served as the Apostolic Nuncio to the Dominican Republic from 2008 until his dismissal in 2013 due to serious allegations of sexual abuse against minors. His case became a significant scandal that highlighted the Vatican's handling of clerical abuse cases and marked a pivotal moment in the Church's approach to such accusations under Pope Francis.
