Juan Carlos Coello Díaz

Juan Carlos Coello Díaz is a skilled agricultural engineer and the newly appointed director of the Red Solidaria program in Honduras. He steps into this role following the resignation of José Carlos Cardona, who left amid allegations of financial mismanagement within the Social Development Secretariat. Coello Díaz has a solid educational background, having studied at prestigious institutions such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Agrarian University La Molina in Peru. With over twenty years of experience, he has worked on various projects related to productive investment, environmental management, and social infrastructure. Additionally, his expertise includes water resource management and risk management. He previously held positions at the World Food Programme and the National Agrarian Institute, among others, and will serve in his new capacity without salary.
