Juan Cavanna

Juan Cavanna is a Jesuit priest and the superior of the Jesuit community at Javier College in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He has a rich history of collaboration in pastoral activities at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador in Quito. Cavanna was notably a part of the Jesuit formation during the time when Jorge Bergoglio, who later became Pope Francis, was his superior in Argentina. He recalls fondly the warmth and humor of Bergoglio, noting the importance of humility and service that the future pope exemplified.
