Juan de Jesús Suárez

Juan de Jesús Suárez was a moneylender whose involvement in the drug trade led to his murder in June 2023. His death is believed to have been ordered by Guideon José Britton Anderson as Suárez was reportedly encroaching on territory controlled by Anderson's rival gang. Following his assassination, members of Anderson's group began extorting Suárez's debtors, indicating the violent and opportunistic nature of the ongoing gang conflict in Matina.
